Hi Priya, thanks for sending the contract. Um, two things. The start date should be March third, not the first, and can we make the payment terms thirty days? Otherwise it looks good. Best, Sam

With Dictate + Format. Your words, cleaned up and laid out for Gmail.Click where you’d type in Gmail
Vokalu types wherever your cursor is: a message box, a prompt, a document, a comment.
Hold the shortcut and talk
Hold Ctrl + Win on Windows or Control + Option on Mac. Correct yourself as you go (“no wait, Friday”); Vokalu keeps only what you meant.
Let go, then read it once

What Vokalu does in Gmail
With Dictate + Format, text going into Gmail is laid out as an email body. A greeting you say goes on its own line, then short paragraphs, then the closing question on its own line, then your sign-off with your name below it. Vokalu never adds a greeting, sign-off or name you didn’t say, and a short reply stays short.
In a browser, Vokalu recognizes Gmail from the tab title, so keep the site’s name in it (it is by default). Only the name “Gmail” is used for formatting; the rest of the title stays on your computer. Google Workspace inboxes that show “Company Mail” instead of “Gmail” are recognized too.
Questions worth asking
Do I need a Gmail extension?
No. Vokalu types into the text field you’re in, in any browser on Windows and Mac. It doesn’t read your inbox or connect to your Google account to do it.
Does Vokalu send the email for me?
No. It writes the draft where your cursor is. You read it and press Send. Check names, dates and attachments first.
