How we estimate your voice time
Voice time uses the selected word count at the speaking pace below, plus 2 seconds for processing. Larger typing amounts scale your actual test time in proportion to the word count, assuming the same pace and similar text. This is an estimate, not a measured Vokalu result. Pauses, corrections, and editing can add time.

How the score works
One standardized word is five characters, including spaces. WPM counts characters currently matching the prompt at the same position, divided by five and elapsed minutes. Accuracy counts correct character entries out of all entries, including mistakes you later fix. This is a practice score, not a certified benchmark.
