What Vokalu does in Discord

Text going into Discord is kept casual and concise, without a stiff final period on a single short sentence. Vokalu removes fillers and applies your corrections, but keeps your slang.

The Discord app is recognized by name. In a browser, Vokalu recognizes Discord from the tab title, so keep the site’s name in it (it is by default). Only the name “Discord” is used for formatting; the rest of the title stays on your computer.

Questions worth asking

Is Vokalu a Discord bot?

No. It runs on your computer and types into the message box. Nothing is added to your server.

Can it transcribe Discord voice messages?

Yes. Play the message while Vokalu’s Notes listens, or save the file and upload it. See the guide below.
