Voice coding in Cursor.

Vibe coding is mostly describing what you want, and describing is faster out loud. Hold the shortcut in Cursor’s chat or editor, explain the change, and Vokalu types it with your code terms intact.

What Vokalu does in Cursor

Text going into Cursor gets code-editor formatting: technical terms, identifiers and file names preserved exactly, and no decorative formatting. In Cursor’s terminal, coding agents like Claude Code are recognized from the tab title and get prompt formatting.

Cursor is recognized by name on Windows and Mac.

Questions worth asking

Does Vokalu write code?

No. It types what you say. It’s best for prompts, comments and commit messages, where you’re describing rather than spelling out syntax.

Does it work in Windsurf or Zed?

Yes. Both are recognized as code editors and get the same formatting.
