What Vokalu does in Claude
Text going into Claude is treated as a prompt: direct instructions in your words, with file names, identifiers and technical terms kept exact, and a list only when you listed several things. It’s a message to the assistant, so Vokalu never answers it.
The Claude desktop app is recognized by name. In a browser, Vokalu recognizes Claude from the tab title, so keep the site’s name in it (it is by default). Only the name “Claude” is used for formatting; the rest of the title stays on your computer.
Questions worth asking
Does it work with Claude Code?
Yes. Claude Code running in a terminal tab is recognized from the tab title and gets the same prompt formatting, with file names and identifiers kept exact.
Does Claude see my audio?
No. Claude only receives the text Vokalu types, after you send it.
